Prince Kofi Amoabeng (born 22 February 1952) is a Ghanaian business person. He is the founder and chief executive officer of UT Bank and the president of its parent, UT Holdings.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Prince Kofi Amoabeng, President, UT Holdings )〕 ==Early life and education== Amoabeng was born at Bososo in the Eastern Region of Ghana. He attended Adisadel College in Cape Coast, Penworth Preparatory School, in Accra, and St. Peter’s Secondary School at Nkwatia. He graduated from the University of Ghana, Legon, with a bachelor's degree in Administration (Accounting). Kofi then attended the Military Academy in Accra and was commissioned as a Lieutenant. While in the army, studied the Royal Army Pay Corps course in Cost and Management Accountancy in Winchester, UK, returning home after a year and a half. He left the army in May 1982 because he opposed the return of the country to military rule.〔
